Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 30

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 10,900-11,800/mt ($365-395/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have trended down over the same period, losing by INR 1,000-2,000/mt ($33-67/mt) and are now at NTD 54,000-59,000/mt ($1,807-1,974/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late July shipments.
