Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 25

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,400-7,300/mt ($198-226/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 33,500-35,500/mt ($1,037-2,000/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September shipment.
 
$1 = NTD 32.28
