SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained stable during the past week to NTD 6,600-7,500/mt ($215-245/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 3,000/mt ($98/mt) week on week to NTD 39,000-41,000/mt ($1,272-1,337/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early of July shipments.
