SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have decreased by NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,800-7,700/mt ($208-236/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 33,500-36,500/mt ($1,025-1,117/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-August.
