SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,900-7,800/mt ($224-255/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 2,000/mt (65/mt) week on week to NTD 40,000-42,000/mt ($1,301-1,366/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
