Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 19

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) during the past week to NTD 8,800-9,700/mt ($271-299/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 1,000/mt ($31/mt) over the past week to NTD 34,000-36,500/mt ($1,048-1,125/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late July shipment.
 
$1 = NTD 32.45
