Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 17

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable week on week at NTD 7,500-8,400/mt ($242-271/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have also remained stable week on week at NTD 39,000-42,000/mt ($1,259-1,356/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of May shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 30.98
