SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,600-7,900/mt ($248-258/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved down by NTD 500/mt over the past week at NTD 35,000-39,000/mt ($1,143-1,274/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
