SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have declined by NTD 500/mt during the past week to NTD 7,800-8,100/mt ($257-267/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,500-39,500/mt ($1,169-1,301/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April shipments.
