SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 8,300-8,600/mt ($273-282/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,500-39,500/mt ($1,166-1,297/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in early and mid-April.
