SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 8,100-9,000/mt ($250-278/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 36,000-41,000/mt ($1,111-1,265/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late January shipments.
