Brazilian niobium ferroalloy export prices decline

Brazilian exports of niobium ferroalloys in January were priced FOB at $20,674/mt in average, 2.6 percent less than in December.

Exports by CBMM, the world's largest producer, was priced at $20,348/mt, while exports from the local arm of Anglo American were priced at $22,932/mt, reductions by 2.2 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively.

In the Brazilian domestic market, steel producers are currently paying $19,020/mt to $19,860/mt, CFR full taxes conditions, following a recent price reduction of 6 percent.
