Italian mills are offering mesh quality (1010 grade) wire rod in the local market at €790-820/mt ($1,222-1,269/mt) ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
It is observed that the local wire rod prices of the Italian producers, which are due to close for their summer holidays in August, have been increasing considerably coming up towards the end of June.
