Buyers in the Philippines market for the moment seem to be resisting the strengthening prices in the market for their bookings. Price level for Q195 grades are at around $540-550/mt CFR Manila, for September shipment while buyers are looking to book at lower prices. Market players expect that buyers will sooner or later have to accept the stronger offers as there seems to be not much supply at the currently desired price levels.
