Wire rod prices increase in Taiwan

Domestic wire rod prices in Taiwan have increased by an average of NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) compared to last week. The new prices are at the following levels:

Price

Low carbon 5.5-12 mm

NTD 20,500-21,000/mt ($628-643/mt)

Medium/high carbon 5.5-12 mm

NTD 20,000-20,800/mt ($613-637/mt)

Alloyed 5.5-12 mm

NTD 19,500-20,300/mt ($597-622/mt)

CHQ 5.5-32 mm

NTD 19,300-20,000/mt ($591-613/mt)

The above prices include five percent VAT and are also ex-warehouse. All the prices are for mid-November shipments.
