Wire rod prices in Turkish market

SteelOrbis has learned that the current offers for 1008 grade 6.5-8 mm wire rod in the local Turkish steel market are as follows.

TRY 1,620-1,630/mt    ($776-780/mt) ex-works

TRY1,640-1,660/mt ($785-795/mt) ex-works

The above prices are on actual weight basis. The dollar prices exclude VAT, while the TRY prices include VAT.

As of today, prices have not changed as compared to price levels prior to the Ramadan holiday.
