Wire rod prices in the local Taiwanese steel market are at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT, delivered to customer and are also for mid-October shipments. The prices for low carbon grade wire rod have decreased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) since last week, while the prices of other grades have remained unchanged.
