Wire rod prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 16

Wire rod prices in the local Taiwanese steel market are at the following levels:

Low carbon 5.5-12 mm

NTD 18,000-20,000/mt ($597-663/mt)

Medium carbon 5.5-12 mm

NTD 22,000-22,500/mt ($729-746/mt)

High carbon 5.5-12 mm

NTD 22,000-22,500/mt ($729-746/mt)

Low alloyed 5.5-12 mm

NTD 24,000-25,000/mt ($796-829/mt)

CHQ 5.5-32 mm

NTD 22,800-23,800/mt ($756-789/mt)

The above prices include five percent VAT and are also delivered to customer. The prices, which have not changed significantly since last week, are for mid-June shipments.
