The new wire rod prices in the local Taiwanese market are at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT and are also delivered to warehouse. All the prices are for early September shipments. The CHQ wire rod prices indicate an increase of NTD 1,000/mt ($32/mt), whereas low, medium and high carbon wire rod prices indicate decreases of NTD 1,000/mt ($32/mt), all compared to the previous week.
