Wire rod export price maintains stability in Brazil

Brazilian producers remain negotiating mesh grade wire rod exports at $650/mt, FOB conditions, the same price level for six weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

According to the same source, the reference price for the drawing grade product remains at $680/mt, under the same conditions.

The source mentioned that there are expectations for an increase of prices in the short term, but no deal was closed at higher prices so far.
