SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Turkish rebar export offers are standing at $610-615/mt FOB from the Iskenderun region and at $600-605/mt FOB from the Marmara region, though demand is almost nonexistent.
In the meantime, market sources report that a rebar transaction from Turkey to the UAE has been concluded at $592/mt FOB and that rebar demand in the UAE has begun to revive. Thus, Turkish mills are willing to provide discounts in order not to miss out on orders.
