Following the rapid rises seen in the local Iranian rebar market in the second week of July, in the past week domestic rebar prices in Iran have increased by an average of $32.5/mt to $500-540/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT. Iranian buyers consider this price range offered by the Iranian mills to be on the high side and so they are concluding new deals only in line with their needs.
