Turkish producers' most commonly reported wire rod offers to the Middle East and to North and West Africa have moved down by $8/mt during the past week to $360-370/mt FOB, while Turkish producers continue to conclude sales of just small tonnages of wire rod.

Meanwhile, Turkish mesh quality wire rod offers to the US have remained stable during the past week in the range of $365-375/mt CFR FO US Gulf Coast ports. Market sources state that wire rod stocks at US ports are declining rapidly and so US buyers have increased their wire rod inquiries and are expected to conclude new deals very soon. In the current week, a Turkish producer has given wire rod offers to the US at $370/mt CFR.
