Turkish rebar market

Prices of reinforcing bars in the Turkish local market indicate an increase in Payas region and a decrease in Aegean region compared to the previous week. Prices in terms of US Dollars indicate an increase in all regions, except Aegean region. The recent price levels are as follows:
 
Marmara Region:
Small dia.: TRY 620-650/mt (approx. $383-401/mt)
Large dia.: TRY 620-630/mt (approx. $383-389/mt)
 
Payas Region:
Small dia.: TRY 635/mt (approx. $392/mt)
Large dia.: TRY 625/mt (approx. $386/mt)

Aegean Region:
Small dia.: TRY 635/mt (approx. $392/mt)
Medium dia: TRY 620/mt (approx. $383/mt)
Large dia.: TRY 610/mt (approx. $377/mt)
All TRY prices include 18% VAT. USD equivalents exclude VAT. 1 USD = 1.3722 TRY Sources report that actual sales in Marmara region are made below list prices.
