Prices of reinforcing bars in
Turkey's Marmara region indicated a decrease from the levels of previous week. Prices in terms of US Dollars in the Marmara region also indicate a decline. The recent price levels are as follows:
Marmara Region:
Small dia.: TRY 657-700/mt (approx. $428-456/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TRY 657-680/mt (approx. $428-443/mt+VAT)
Payas Region:
Small dia.: TRY 680/mt (approx. $443/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TRY 670/mt (approx. $436/mt+VAT)
Habas Region:
Small dia.: TRY 675/mt (approx. $440/mt+VAT)
Medium dia: TRY 660/mt (approx. $430/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TRY 650/mt (approx. $423/mt+VAT)
All TRY prices include 18% VAT.
USD equivalents exclude VAT.

Although the price lists of the mills are indicated as above, sales in the market are made at the level of TRY 630/mt ($410/mt+VAT) and below.
