Turkish rebar market

Prices of reinforcing bars in the Turkish local market indicate an increase over the previous week's levels. The recent price levels are as per the following:

Marmara Region:
Small dia.: TL 720'000-740'000/kg (approx. $437-450/mt+VAT)
Large dia.: TL 710'000-720'000/kg (approx. $431-437/mt+VAT)

Aegean region:
8mm         : TL 730'000/kg (approx. $443/mt+VAT)
10mm        : TL 715'000/kg (approx. $435/mt+VAT)
Large dia   : TL 705'000/kg (approx. $428/mt+VAT)

Payas region:
Small dia  :  TL 730'000/kg (approx. $443/mt+VAT)
Large dia  :  TL 720'000/kg (approx. $437/mt+VAT)
All TL prices are including 18% VAT. USD equivalents are excluding VAT. 1 USD = 1'393'210.23 TL
