SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export at $570-575/mt FOB on actual weight basis for December shipments to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets.
Turkish producers have started to increase their offers. The USA and European rebar markets are still registering a lack of activity due to the low domestic prices and the high freight costs. On the other hand, some sales are being concluded to alternative markets, such as Lebanon and Syria. In addition, the Far East and the Southeast Asian markets have continued to attract attention as potential buyers.
