Turkish rebar export prices

SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export at around $570/mt FOB on actual weight basis for late October and early November shipments to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets.

The European market, contrary to expectations, has not been able to make headway in exports despite the strong €/USD exchange rate. In addition, the US market has been stable for a long time. However, the reports of some deals being concluded to the UAE may help producers' prices to resist.
