Turkish mill Kardemir opens its domestic rebar sales

As per its new price list dated December 18, Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its domestic rebar sales. Accordingly, Kardemir has opened its domestic sales for rebar at the level of TRY 1,165/mt ($502/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for January shipments. Compared to the price list issued on December 15, the producer's rebar prices have increased by TRY 21/mt, though prices on US dollar basis have decreased by $11/mt due to fluctuation of the exchange rate.
