SteelOrbis has heard that Turkish rolling mills are offering angles for export at $1,190-1,200/mt FOB on actual weight basis for July shipments. In addition, flat bars are being offered at $1,200-1,210/mt FOB, 80-100-120 mm IPE is being offered at $1,260-1,270/mt FOB, IPN-UPN are being offered at $1,200-1,210/mt FOB and 80-100-120 mm IPE AA is being offered at $1,270-1,280/mt - all on actual weight basis and also for July shipments.

The Turkish merchant bar producers, which had so far been obtaining greater relief in exports compared to the local market, are now complaining about the tight profit margins in the export market these days, where billet sales at price levels of $1,100/mt are being heard and where the billet price level of $1,150/mt is being pushed. As the producers pass the scrap and billet price increases on to longs, they are having trouble giving consistent prices.
