Price levels in the Turkish domestic rebar market have registered a decrease of TRY 20-30/mt ($12-25/mt excluding VAT). However, the end-users who have been maintaining a "wait-and-see" stance from the first months of 2008 have recently increased their purchases against the background of the significant price decreases.
Accordingly, current rebar prices in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
Region | Product | Price |
Marmara | 8 mm | TRY 1,020/mt (approx. $616/mt) |
Marmara | 12 mm | TRY 1,000/mt (approx. $604/mt) |
Iskenderun | 8 mm | TRY 1,010/mt (approx. $610/mt) |
Iskenderun | 12 mm | TRY 1,000/mt (approx. $604/mt) |
