Turkey’s Kardemir closes its billet sales

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has closed its billet sales today, May 12, after selling about 85,000 mt of billet in total. The mill had opened its sales earlier today at the level of TRY 1,500/mt ($419/mt) ex-works for S235JR billet and at TRY 1,518/mt ($424/mt) ex-works for MT III-A billet, both excluding VAT.
