Turkey-based Kardemir opens its domestic billet sales

As per its new price list dated today, October 5, Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its billet sales. Accordingly, the mill opened its sales for S235JR grade billets at the level of $310/mt ex-works and for MT III-A grade billets at $315/mt ex-works, both excluding VAT, with 50 percent on cash payment basis, with 50 percent on 45-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral. Compared to the price list issued on September 9, the producer has reduced its billet prices by $30/mt.
