Turkish steel producer Kardemir has closed its domestic rebar sales today, January 10, without selling any rebar due to the sharp movements of the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate. The mill had opened its rebar sales on January 6 at the level of TRY 1,568/mt ($433/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT.
