Turkey-based Kardemir closes its rebar sales

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has closed its domestic billet sales today, March 26, after selling about 83,000 mt of billet in total. The mill had opened its sales on March 24 for S235JR grade billets at the level of $380/mt ex-works and for MT III-A grade billets at $385/mt ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, Kardemir's rebar sales, which it also opened on March 24, remain open.
