According to market sources, rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market have been revised upwards, with prices moving up over the past week due to tightness of availability, while transaction activity has remained at medium levels.
Turkish steel producer Kardemir closed its domestic rebar sales on July 18. Market sources report that Turkish traders had accelerated their stock purchases from Kardemir due to the tightness in rebar availability.
