Stronger dollar provides support for Turkish rebar spot market

Spot rebar prices in some regions of Turkey have moved up by $5/mt, while, despite adverse market conditions, the strengthening of the US dollar against the Turkish lira has prevented rebar prices in other regions from declining. The Marmara region has witnessed availability shortages, while offers have been revised upward in the Izmir region with the aim of pushing up low price levels. 

As of today, May 16, traders' rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
