CIS suppliers are offering 125 x 125 mm to 150 x 150 mm billet at $750-760/mt CFR Iranian northern port (Anzali) for production in October and shipment in November or December, up from $680-690/mt CFR Iranian northern ports at the end of July and up from $690-700/mt at the end of June this year. CIS suppliers have managed to raise their prices steadily and successfully in the last few months. CIS suppliers' prices of billet for Iran had reached low levels in April of the current year, but since then their prices have been going up steadily.

Local Iranian traders who import billet from the CIS have raised their prices for the local market in the last few weeks. Nowadays, they are offering ready stock CIS origin billet of 125 x 125 mm to 150 x 150 mm sizes at about Rial 8.50- 8.65 million/mt ($802-816/mt) ex-stock Iranian northern ports, up from Rial 7.60-7.70 million/mt ($717-726/mt) ex-stock at the end of July and up from Rial 7.70-7.75 million/mt ($726-731/mt) at the end of June. Ukrainian origin ready stock billet of 125 x 125 mm to 150 x 150 mm sizes is now in a price range of about Rial 8.40-8.50 million/mt ($792-802/mt) ex-stock Iranian southern port.
