Spanish rebar market follows a soft trend

In the past two weeks, mills' domestic rebar prices in Spain have declined by €10/mt ($13/mt) to €470/mt ($606/mt) for deliveries to customer, while their rebar export offers have slid down by €5/mt ($6/mt) to the range of €450-455/mt ($596-603/mt) FOB.

Low interest for finished steel in the European markets and the lack of expectations for demand to improve in the near term have dragged rebar prices down.
