According to market sources, rebar offers from Turkey's Iskenderun region to Iraq have decreased by $10/mt over the past two weeks and are currently in the range of $580-590/mt ex-works. Transaction activity in the Iraqi rebar market has weakened since last week due to the parliamentary elections being held in the country today, April 30. Demand is expected to improve next week amid expectations of greater stability after the elections .
