Shagang Group issues longs prices for mid-June

On June 11, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group published its ex-mill prices for certain long steel products, effective immediately. The details are as follows:

1.      High speed wire rod prices remain unchanged. As a result, the price of 6.5 mm Q235 high speed wire rod stays at RMB 4,300/mt ($630/mt).

2.      The rebar price has decreased by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt). Thus, the new price of HRB 335 14-25 mm rebar is RMB 3,950/mt ($579/mt).

3.      The price of deformed bar in coil remains unchanged, with the price of HRB 400  8 mm still at RMB 4,450/mt ($652/mt).

4.      The hardwire price remains unchanged. The price of 45# 6.5 mm hardwire is still at RMB 4,650/mt ($682/mt), 30MnSi price is RMB 4,620/mt ($677/mt) and the 82B price is at RMB 4,790/mt ($702/mt).

All the above prices are ex-mill, include 17 percent VAT and are effective from June 11.
