Shagang Group issues longs prices for late June

On June 21, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group published its ex-mill prices for long steel products for late June. The details are as follows:

1.      The price of HRB 335 14-25 mm rebar has remained unchanged at RMB 3,950/mt ($579/mt). On the other hand, the price of 10 mm rebar has increased by RMB 80/mt ($12/mt), the 12 mm rebar price has risen by RMB 30/mt ($4/mt), while prices of 28 mm and 32 mm rebar have gone up by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt).

2.      The price of high speed wire rod has decreased by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). As a result, the new price of 6.5 mm Q235 common carbon high speed wire rod is RMB 4,250/mt ($623/mt).

3.      The price of deformed bar in coil has decreased by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). Thus, the price of HRB 400 8 mm material is RMB 4,400/mt ($645/mt).


All the above prices are ex-mill, include 17 percent VAT and are effective from June 21.
