Having indicated a very slow upward movement during the major part of last week, the uptrend of domestic rebar prices in Turkey once again accelerated on Friday, August 4. On the other hand, demand received from buyers has not improved, though domestic rebar prices have maintained their increasing trend as a result of the ongoing rises recorded in import scrap prices in Turkey. Accordingly, traders’ rebar offers to their domestic market have moved up by TRY 10-30/mt compared to the price levels recorded on August 3.
