Rebar prices in the UK

Wednesday, 28 March 2007 10:16:45 (GMT+3)   |
The local rebar prices in the UK are at around £350/mt (approx. $687/mt) on actual weight basis, excluding VAT. The prices are expected to increase by £20-30/mt in April. The UK, which traditionally imports rebar from Spain and northern Europe, currently has difficulty in importing rebar from these regions due to the higher prices in the Iberian Peninsula and northern Europe.
