SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of Turkish origin imported rebar in the local Dubai market is standing at the level of AED 3,000-3,100/mt ($816-844/mt) delivered to site on theoretical weight basis, with three-to-four month deferred payment, excluding VAT. Meanwhile, Chinese origin imported rebar in the same market is at the price level of AED 2,650-2,700/mt ($721-735/mt) with the same terms.

The rebar price levels have weakened by AED 100/mt ($27/mt) compared to last week in the UAE market, which has marked a pause as regards import activity due to the high stock levels.
