Rebar prices have picked up on a TRY basis since the US Dollar recorded an increase this week. Sivas Demir Celik, which closed its sales at TRY 940/mt, has not reopened them yet. Sivas Demir Celik will also out of the market this week.
The new prices are at the following levels:
Marmara Region:
8-12 mm TRY 975-980/mt (approx. $591-594/mt)
Payas area:
Small dia: TRY 1,015/mt (approx. $615/mt)
Large dia: TRY 1,005/mt (approx. $609/mt)
Izmir area:
8 mm TRY 970/mt (approx. $588/mt)
10 mm TRY 980/mt (approx. $594/mt)
12 mm TRY 990/mt (approx. $600/mt)
All TRY prices include 18 percent VAT and are ex-works.
