Rebar price up in local Italian market

The price level of rebar in the local Italian market is at Euro 490-495/mt delivered to warehouses in Northern Italy on actual weight basis with open account, excluding VAT, for March shipment. Base prices are currently at around Euro 300/mt. Prices in the south of the country are higher. The higher domestic prices and the slight rise in the Euro/US Dollar exchange rate have raised the appeal of Turkish rebars in southern Europe again.
