Rebar price levels in Italy

The Italian mills are offering medium size rebars to the local market at price levels of around €625/mt ($989/mt) ex-works, with two to three months open account, excluding VAT.

Italian producers have sharply increased their base prices this week. The base prices in the local Italian market are currently at €410/mt ($648/mt).

On the Italian export rebar market side, the Italian producers are offering rebars at up to €620/mt ($981/mt) FOB. The latest deals concluded last week were at €575-580/mt ($909-917/mt) FOB.
