The price level of imported rebar in the UAE market is at around AED 3,100-3,150/mt ($844-858/mt) delivered to site on a theoretical weight basis for 3- and 4-month deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Prices in the UAE local market are still strengthening. On the import market side, some of the Turkish producers have been offering rebars at price levels as high as $800/mt CFR. However, it seems that the acceptance of this price level will take time.
