Egyptian steel producer EZDK has increased its price of rebar for sale in the domestic market by EGP 380/mt ($69/mt). The new price level of EZDK production rebars is now at EGP 4,450/mt ($813/mt) on actual weight basis, excluding VAT.
Export market offers in Egypt have reportedly been at prices equivalent to $870-875/mt FOB on actual weight basis recently.
Meanwhile, reports from Egypt indicate that the general price level in the domestic market is EGP 5,100/mt ($932/mt)
